Revolar Device Sends a Discrete Emergency Alert

Revolar Device Sends a Discrete Emergency Alert
May-07-15
The Revolar personal security device will send a call for help at the push of a button, alerting contacts to the user’s location.

Designed to be discrete and accessible, the Revolar measures the size of a quarter and pairs with a smartphone via an iOS or Android app. It can be carried in a pocket or clipped to a key ring or backpack, and can be activated by pressing the slightly recessed, 360-degree button. Once the alert has been triggered, the Revolar will send a text message and GPS coordinates to the user’s contacts, followed by continuing updates on their location. When the user feels out of danger, they can turn off the alert via the app.

The Revolar has already exceeded its funding goal on Kickstarter.
