RingRescue Removes Rings without Damage

Aug-04-19 The RingRescue device removes rings from swollen fingers to prevent damage to patents’ jewelry.

It is not uncommon for emergency room patients to also have swollen fingers, which often requires that any rings they are wearing be cut off. The RingRescue offers a less drastic alternative with the help of a tiny inflatable cuff that fits over the patient’s finger. When the cuff is inflated, the resulting pressure will reduce the swelling to the point that the ring can be easily removed.
