Ruggie Alarm Clock Won't Turn Off Until You Get Up

Jan-11-16 The Ruggie Alarm clock mat is silenced when the user steps on it, making it a bit more difficult to indulge in the snooze alarm.

Created by Winson Tam, the Ruggie mat is made out of comfortable memory foam, and includes an embedded touch sensor and LED display. A computer can be connected to the mat via USB, which allows the user to set the alarm and even choose customized sounds. Once the alarm goes off, it only be silenced by standing on the mat for three full seconds, which helps to motivate even the most diehard snoozers to stumble out of bed.
