Sarotis Wearable Transmits Data Through Touch

Sarotis Wearable Transmits Data Through Touch
Oct-05-16
The innovative Sarotis wearable envisions data being relayed via the skin, rather than a screen.

The silicon device wraps around the user’s leg, arm and neck, where it will inflate or deflate according to a set of preprogrammed parameters. In tests, not only was the Sarotis system able to guide wearers quickly along a path via tactile feedback, the wearer was also able to remember and trace their path afterward.
