Shelevator Brings Upper Shelves Down

Oct-25-12 The Shelevator lets you keep your feet on the ground by lowering top shelves within reach.

Designed by Shlomo Scwartz, the shelf is made up of a box mounted on drawer slides that slips into an uppermost opening in the kitchen cabinets. To access the shelf, the user pulls it out using the attached cord, and then lowers it within reach by the chains secured to the corners. The shelf can be put back into place by raising it on the chains and pushing it into cabinet with a rod attached to the cord.

Shlomo plans to sell Shelevator kits on eBay.
