Slimbox Creates Bespoke Boxes

Slimbox Creates Bespoke Boxes
Dec-14-16
The innovative Slimbox machine reduces waste by creating bespoke boxes.

The Slimbox machine was created by the Belgian startup Fit Things as a way to save packaging time while also reducing waste and postal charges. The user first enters the object’s dimensions into a companion app, which generates a model of the box and sends the data to the Slimbox machine. The Slimbox then laser-cuts a sheet of corrugated cardboard to create fold lines, which are folded by the user to create a lidded box.
