The Smart Rod Sensor can attach to any fishing rod, where its sensor system will track the number of casts and the surrounding conditions during the fishing session. When a fish is caught, a simple press of a button on the sensor will transmit the data via Bluetooth to a companion app on a paired smartphone. That app can be accessed to monitor and study fishing history, such as the number of fish caught in a location, the environmental conditions, and the date and time.
