Solar Powered Water Dispensing Shelter

Solar Powered Water Dispensing Shelter
Jan-02-11
The Hydroleaf is a combination bus shelter, street light, rain catchment system and water dispenser- and it looks good doing it.

Conceived by Iranian design student Mostafa Bondakdar, the Hydroleaf uses its solar panel canopy as both a shade shelter and a rain water collector. The solar panels power the LED lights, and a filter cleans the water and sends it to a dispenser.

Intended for use in arid regions, the Hydroleaf can hold up to 60 gallons of water.
