The Soofa sign was developed to offer a way to bring information to urban dwellers in real time, and will display transit information as well and upcoming events. Resident can also submit ideas as to what information the sign should display. The extremely efficient electronic paper display was created using technology from Visionect, and the system is entirely solar-powered.
