Space Tech Creates World's Most Comfortable High Heels

May-07-15 Former Space X executive Dolly Singh has teamed up with some equally brainy designers to create the world’s most comfortable stiletto heel.

Among the design elements being incorporated are a three-inch heel that looks like four inches, high-tech polymers instead of the typical metal rod structure, and aerospace-grade foam in the sole that reduces the impact of each step by fifty percent. The first pairs will be priced at around $975 and sent to VIPs, with the next batch priced more affordably and targeted at professional women.

Singh said the key to recruiting her team of engineers was in presenting the problem not as a fashion design, “but as a serious engineering problem.”
