Spree Fitness Monitoring Headband

Jan-13-14 Spree Sports has unveiled the Spree Headband, a fitness monitoring device that tracks the motion and vitals of the user while also keeping the sweat out of their eyes.

Made of flexible silicon rubber, the device was designed to be placed on the forehead because that is the area where body temperature can be most accurately measured. The Spree will also monitor heart rate, distance, speed, time and calories burned, streaming the data in real time to a paired smart phone to allow real time analysis of the body’s performance.

The device was also designed for flexibility. The Spree headband can offer limited functionality when worn as an armband or carried in a pocket, and the small module that contains the Spree itself can be integrated into other devices.
