StrongVolt SmartCharger Resumes Charging When the Sun Returns
Jan-01-14
The StrongVolt SmartCharger will automatically resume charging after the direct line to the sun has been interrupted by a cloud, tunnel or other temporary shade.

Most solar chargers must be disconnected and then reconnected after in order to restart the charging process after being brought into shade. If the charger has been left unattended during that time, the user could come back to find that a passing cloud caused the entire charging process to stop—leaving the device low on power or not charged at all.

In contrast, the StrongVolt SmartCharger was developed with SunTrack Technology, which allows it to power off when in the shade and reconnect automatically when it is back in the sunlight. A pair of LED lights will indicate whether the charger is receiving enough sunlight to charge the device (a feature not found on other solar chargers), and it has also been designed to be compatible with iDevices, which will not work well with solar chargers since they demand a constant and stable power source.
