Terrarium Desk Helps Beat Winter Blues

Feb-12-13 The Terrarium Desk brings a bit of the outdoors inside, helping alleviate the lack of sunlight and access to nature suffered by many who work indoors.

Designed by Daniel Zeller, an app designer who works long hours indoors, the desk is make from locally sourced wood with a tabletop of tempered glass. The plants, from Ikea are planted inside the front desk drawer, where they can be accessed for easy watering.

While Zeller has no plans to commercially produce the desk, he is open to the idea.
