Bring the root cellar into the 21st century with the eCool, an eco-friendly cooler that chills beer (or other canned drinks) without ice or power.Created by the Danish startup of the same name, the eCool measures three feet tall and nine inches in diameter, and weighs about 26 pounds. It is designed to be placed in a three foot hole, which requires some digging, but it can remain in place year-round once it has been installed. The cans are delivered to the surface (or installed underground) via a hand-cranked, vertical conveyor belt, and the eCool's insulated top prevents the cooler air from escaping the device.
