The Frolic works on a pod-based system, and the company offers 3 types of pods – a regular, a lite, and a vegan, which serve as the base for your ice cream. You can choose between two broad flavor profiles – vanilla, or chocolate, and customize them using anything from fruits to Oreos to create your own unique blend. The pods contain a combination of dairy and cane sugar, although the vegan version uses coconut milk instead of dairy, and the lite variant has its own natural thickening agents. All the pods are eggless too, making them vegetarian-friendly.
