The Intrepid Attaches to Clothing to Help Prevent Assualts

The Intrepid Attaches to Clothing to Help Prevent Assualts
Jul-27-17
The Intrepid wearable helps to prevent sexual assaults by sending an alert if the wearer is being attacked.

The stick-on Intrepid is made up of conductive layers in a hydrogel, which can be pressed to trigger the device to send a text message alert to five contacts, as well as a phone call to a single contact. The Intrepid can also be set to ‘active mode,’ which will trigger the alert automatically if the device senses signs of an assault, such as forced disrobing.
