The Sleeve Lets Teachers Lock Doors from the Inside

The Sleeve Lets Teachers Lock Doors from the Inside
Jun-26-14
Developed by a group of teachers, the Sleeve makes it easy to quickly lock a classroom door from the inside.

Created by teacher Daniel Nietzel along with a group of colleagues, the Sleeve is a response to the disturbing rise in school shootings and a potential solution to the lack of a way to lock a classroom door from the inside. The simple device consists of a steel piece that attaches to the top hinge of the door from the inside to prevent the door from being opened.

The Sleeve is being marketed directly to teachers, whom Neitzel envisions carrying it a purse or storing it in a drawer for quick use while still keeping it out of sight of the class.

There are so many measurements it is not clear how to make sure one is getting the right sleeve. If it were on amazon prime a sleeve could be returned until the right sleeve is purchased. Otherwise, I wouldn't have a clue as to which one to purchase. Friendly feedback.

Emmett,
This is great feedback and one of the reasons we have changed the design so that only one measurement is required (you can find the new instructions on this link about halfway down the page https://fightingchancesolutions.com/products/the-sleeve)
We do offer a free exchange policy with customers to ensure they get the size they need. This has worked well as we personally follow up with every single customer to ensure they have the correct fit. Thanks for your feedback.
