Glacier Computer has released the W200 wearable computer. It has the same features of a conventional computer, but it can be strapped to the wrist to provide hands-free operation while being carried.The computer can run Windows CE or Linux and has a touch-screen 3.5” display, a backlit keyboard and a hot swappable battery pack. It also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a GPS module.
The W200 is designed to appeal to emergency services, security, defense or field logistics personnel, but anyone needing access to a computer while keeping their hands free would be a good candidate.
