Valour Bike is Carbon Fiber and Connected

Valour Bike is Carbon Fiber and Connected
May-04-14
Dubbed the first-ever connected carbon-fiber bicycle, the Vanhawks Valour is equipped with performance trackers, interactive feedback and security sensors to make the ride smoother, and safer, than ever.

The Valuor Bike pairs with a smartphone to augment a smartphone's GPS by illuminating turn-by-turn navigation symbols on the handlebars—allowing the rider to keep their eyes on the road. Haptic feedback in the handlebars will signal when a car in is the blind spot, and on-board sensors keep track of performance, such as speed or calories burned.

The Valor bike will also communicate with the Vanhawks database, which is increased as other riders map their routes. And if the bike is ever stolen, the alert can be sent out to Valour community; if the stolen bike is detected near another Valor rider, the location will be sent to the owner via an app-based notification.
