While hula-hooping is an efficient and fun workout, the size of the hoop itself can discourage use. The VHOOP hoop, however, can be disassembled and packed into a bag for easy storage. Extra weights can be added to the hoop for a more intense workout, and to help motivate the user, the VHOOP’s embedded sensors and accelerometers will track calories burned, sending the data to a paired smartphone to compare and share with friends.
