WalabotDIY Lets Renovators Peer Through Walls

WalabotDIY Lets Renovators Peer Through Walls
Aug-17-16
The WalabotDIY takes some of the risks out of home repair by letting the user look inside the walls in order to avoid wires and pipes.

The WalabotDIY system is designed to work with Android phones, and consists of a small sensor and companion app. The sensor attaches to the phone magnetically, and will detect pipes, wiring and studs embedded up to four inches deep behind concrete or plasterboard. The data can be displayed in two different modes, with the advanced mode also able to track movement.
