The Wayv Adventurer hand-held microwave brings the convenience of a microwave into the outdoors, offering a flame-free way to heat food and water.
Created by Wayv in conjunction with NXP Semiconductors, the battery-operated Adventurer is based on the technology behind the RF amplifiers in cellphone towers, and is able to generate 250 W of power to foods and liquids as little as four minutes. The unit’s batteries can be recharged via an array of sources, including solar, and one charge will provide enough power for six heating cycles.
