Wind Six Air Purifying Mask

Nov-27-14 Designed in response to China's smog problem, the Wind Six air purifying mask system both filters the air and recommends less polluted areas of the city.

Rather than covering the nose and mouth like conventional masks, the Wind Six device sits just in front of the mouth, much like a head-worn microphone. The battery-operated filter uses a non-ozone electrostatic dust removal technology to capture and remove extremely fine particles from the air. The headset is fitted with environmental sensors that monitor the air around the user, tracking the level of pollutants, and a companion app displays the areas of pollution in the city to help users plan the healthiest route.

The developers are still finalizing the design before bringing it to market.
