The Wocket smart wallet replaces all the cards in your wallet with no smartphone or cloud connection required, and is secured by a biometric seal.
Described as smaller than the usual wallet, the Wocket not only stores electronic versions of the user's cards, it also includes a physical card that can be programmed for different uses. The user's physical stripe cards are first swiped into wallet, where the data is stored in its onboard memory. Users can select the card they want to use via the Wocket's touchscreen, and identification is verified through a combination of biometrics and a PIN. Once identification has been confirmed, the Wocket will pair with any authenticated merchant payment system with no need for a smartphone or internet access.
The separate, physical card can be used for debit and credit card payments, and can be programmed with the exact amount to be paid. Once the card has been swiped through the merchant's card reader, the card's amount is automatically set back to zero, rendering it useless to thieves.
