3D-Printed Pods House the Homeless

3D-Printed Pods House the Homeless
Nov-23-17
3D-printed, building-perching Homed pods could offer an innovate and attractive option for housing the homeless.

Developed by Framlab, the Homed pods are made up of a hexagonal frame that can attach to the side if a building to take advantage of the city’s “vertical land.” The single-dwelling modules could be used to create temporary—or permanent—homes that offer privacy and a sense of dignity while still remaining affordable.
