Hive-inn Vertical Farm

Jul-29-14 The Hive-inn City Farm concept would see a vertical farm rising above city dweller, providing some much-needed space to grow and enjoy fresh produce.

The farm would be made from a tower of stacked containers, much like truck shipping containers, that could be transported and added as needed. Each module would be specialized to handle functions like growing food or recycling waste, and gardening containers could be equipped to use natural or artificial light depending upon their location in the stack. The designers at OVA studios envision the modules having applications beyond simple farming, and sees them branching out to become agricultural workshops, bee and fish farms, and even farms for small livestock.

OVA is now seeking a partnership to bring their idea to light.
