InZoneAlert Vest Warn Roadside Workers of Approaching Cars

Sep-05-15 Developed to help protect the lives of roadside workers, the InZoneAlert vest will warn workers if a vehicle is approaching too closely.

Roadside workers are in constant danger of inattentive drivers, who may be oblivious or even confused by the warning flags or cones. To help lessen the risk of an accident, the InZoneAlert vest is equipped with short range radio sensors and GPS, and designed to work with the ever-increasing connected vehicle technology. In theory, both the roadside worker and the driver of the vehicle would be warned if a collision is imminent, via a dashboard alert in the car and a vibration or sound in the vest.
