MOCAheart Helps Track Heart Health

Dec-25-14 The MOCAheart smartphone attachment lets the user monitor their cardiovascular health and track the situations that tend to cause the most stress.

THe MOCAheart is equipped with an array of sensors able to measure blood oxygen, blood velocity and cardiac electronic activity, and can be used alone or inserted in an optional smartphone case. To gather readings, users place a finger over the light sensor while touching the metal case with the other hand. A companion app displays the data in real-time, along with the MOCA Index that rates the heart's health on a scale of 0 to 4. The app also tracks the location and weather conditions for each reading, enabling users to notice trends, and the data can be accessed remotely by approved family members or caregivers.

The MOCAheart has exceeded its funding goal on Kickstarter.
