More Comfortable Gold Nanomesh Electronic Tattoo

While electronic tattoos able to measure vital signs hold great promise, the tattoos must be robust enough to hold the electronics, which makes them less comfortable to wear against the skin. In contrast, the new tattoo is made up of a network of gold nanorods embedded in a thin, water-soluble polymer. The polymer film is pressed to the skin and wetted with a small amount of water, adhering temporary tattoo of non-toxic, gold nanorods to the flesh.
