Polaroid Socialmatic Camera Creates Physical and Virtual Prints

Dec-17-14 The Polaroid Socialmatic camera combines the best of both worlds by creating an instant print while also sending the image to the web for remote sharing.

Announced as a concept back in 2013, the Socialmatic is now ready for market. The 14-megapixel camera is equipped with WiFi for internet sharing, GPS for geotagging, Bluetooth, touchscreen controls and a 2-megapixel selfie camera on the back. The adhesive-backed photos are printed using zink technology, and can be idealized on the camera's touchscreen before printing or sending to the web.
