Syntantics SmartBar Adds Gesture Control to Space Bars

Jun-05-15 The Syntantics SmartBar makes use of all that space on a PC space bar by turning it into a touch interface able to carry out different functions.

The SmartBar can be used in place of several finger- and mouse-controlled commands, including moving the thumbs together to zoom in and zoom out, sliding the thumb to scroll vertically, and swiping with the thumb to select text. The SmartBar can also be customized for individual preferences, and includes five separate "buttons" that can be programmed to carry out specific macros.

Gaming-focused computer designers have already expressed interest in the SmartBar, which could save seconds off a players time.
