The device activates a parking brake system when an electronic control unit receives a vehicle traction standby signal. The device avoids disconnection of the system by the control unit when anti-theft protection is not deactivated. The device prevents unavoidable disconnection of the system, during deactivation of the anti-theft protection. The signal is provided when the signal is identified by an electronic monitoring unit. The device stops the supply of auxiliary power to the system, for preventing the disconnection of the system.
