Varable displacement pump ( VDP )

The VDP are designed for having high efficiency in all numbers of revolutions , rpm:s and power delivered by the connected engine. the delivered shaft power from the engine are consumed almoust 100% in all engine rpm:s by the VDP, and thus the efficiency are maximum at all engine rpm:s !!

The VDP can be used as a pump,hydraulic motor as well as delivering water in a marine jet system, the WJP-VDP . The existing marine jet systems (MJS ) are using :
a) Fixed propeller in a tube.
b) Controllable pith propeller.
c) Centrifugal pumps.

The efficiency of all existing MJS have their max. efficiency only at a certain rpm because their power consumption graph ( PCG ) meets the engine shaft power graph only at a certain rpm of the engine. In most cases in the max rpm of the engine,in this favourable rpm the efficiency are high, but in lower rpm:s the efficiency are very low and the fuel consumtion for the engine are high because the MJS have the PCG far from the engine power graph. Therefore the MJS do not consum all delivered power from the engine, means low efficiency !

However the CPP mentioned above have a better PCG than the other systems because the CPP:s PCG are nearer the engines shaft power graph, byt will not be the same.!!

The new VDP:s power consumption graph can be regulated almoust indentical as the engine shaft power graph and thus consuming almoust all delivered shaft power from the engine in all engine rpm:s, this gives minimum fuel consumption for the engine.

OBSERVE that the powerloss in the Jet.process are the distance between the engine shaft power graph and the connected MJS power consumption graph!

The R&D have been done during a long time , during this time three different VDP:s have been constructed for testing and evaluation.

The new WJP-VDP gives :

High efficiency in all engine shaft rpm:s .
Using smaller engines.
Low fuelconsumption.
High maneuverability in all directions.
Load carrying capability.
LOWER EMISSIONS.
