Lens system for three-dimensional display applications
A lens system for a display system, the display system and a method, adapted for three-dimensional display applications are described. The lens system comprises a first lens array (1) adapted for focusing a light beam in a direction comprising a horizontal and/or a vertical component relative to a fixed plane, wherein the light beam is directed through the first lens array (1), a second lens array (2) and a third lens array (3), each adapted for being moved relative to the fixed plane and for controlling the light beam which is incident on the first lens array (1) to a common output direction, wherein the movement of the second lens array (2) and the third lens array (3) is adapted for generating a plurality of images of an object for a plurality of points in time. In this way, any image size can be generated while keeping the implementation costs low and the resolution as high as possible.
