What are People Saying about Your Business?

August 26, 2012 By IdeaConnection

Social media is bringing brands much closer to their consumers and changing the way companies engage with external players.

From discovering what the target audience really wants from your products to working with them to co-create novel concepts, social media can positively affect every part of the innovation process.

It all starts with finding out what people say, think and feel about you.  A new web-based service is providing brands with notifications of when they are being talked about to enable them to make timely interactions with the crowd.

VenueSeen offers its users a service whereby they are alerted when customers have shared location-specific comments and images about their brands.

A dashboard displays all this data and keeps it in a central pool, making it easy for a company to collect feedback, discover what’s being said about it, respond to suggestions and praise, and analyse customer comments, tips and reviews.

Email notifications are sent out as soon as any new comments (positive and negative) or photos are posted from a company’s location. This allows businesses to engage and interact immediately with their customers.

Any outfit, from independent shops to large retail chains can potentially benefit from finding out exactly what their audience is saying about them as they are on the premises.

Currently the new online platform collects information from a variety of social media sites, including Facebook, Instagram and Foursquare.

VenueSeen offers a range of services which start at $20 per month, after an initial free trial period.
