Female Founders in Tech

Quesnay's inaugural Female Founders in Tech Competition is now live! We're looking to provide support to US-based technology startups with a female leader and a product innovation that positively impacts the financial services and / or insurance industries.

There is a distinct lack of representation and startup funding among women and we think the competition format will provide a way to fund, support and mentor female founders in the financial services arena, where the gap is particularly stark and innovation desperately needed - women leaders starting their own business face significant barriers to growth - among the nearly 500 deals closed in the Fintech sector in the US in 2016, less than a dozen went to companies founded by women.

Six finalists will have access to mentoring and business development guidance from industry leaders, access to Microsoft Azure cloud credit, and social media promotion.
