John Keells Holdings PLC, is launching the inaugural John Keells X Open Innovation Challenge for any person or team to create a disruptive business model for a monetary reward.

Learning by doing is what it's all about. It’s an initiative to help extraordinary individuals, teams and startups.

Basically you will compete for a prize after going through the program of events in the Challenge. Along the way you will refine and develop a Minimum Viable Product or a fully-fledged business.

We would love to hear disruptive innovations related the industries we are in. i.e. Consumer Foods & Retail / Financial Services / Information Technology / Leisure / Property / Transportation / Plantation Services; however, we are happy to explore opportunities that lie adjacent to our industries e.g. healthcare for insurance; last mile systems for retail etc.
