Brett Poulis Proven Solver

I have a strong history of innovative and collaborative health related research. My PhD was in protein biochemistry with an emphasis on protein discovery and bioassay development. During my postdoctoral work I was involved with developing protein nanotechnologies with implications in array technologies, proteotherapeutic discoveries, and protein delivery systems.

These accomplishments resulted with me winning the Government of Canada's Networks of Centres of Excellence 2006 Young Innovator of the Year Award.

In the laboratory setting, I have extensive experience in protein bioassay/bioactivity design and implementation, protein identification and characterization using many proteomic methodologies (HPLC purification and concentration, 1D and 2D PAGE, Western blot analysis, tandem mass spectrometry peptide sequencing), ELISAs and many other laboratory SOPs.
