In a nutshell, I am driven by the effective use of resources and effective action. And there is an optimal structure and strategy to achieve this. I am interested in the process of making organizations and the people that comprise them, more knowledgeable and wiser in order to be more effective, to better serve clients/customers, to be more responsive to employees and shareholders, to be sustainable, competitive, and profitable over the long haul, by creating, exploring, discovering, and taking advantage of options and opportunities.

I believe people are an organizations greatest asset. I believe people want to know and understand what is expected of them. I believe direct and concise communication is key in any endeavor. If there is no fundamental and widespread understanding of the mission and purpose of the organization as a whole, then that organization can neither be completely effective and is doomed to stagnate and possibly fail.

I believe if we are to remain competitive and prosperous in the decades to come, we all must be better informed, more realistic, more adaptable, and generally more aware of both the threats and opportunities that exist, both domestically and internationally

I believe an effective strategy must be grounded in reality.
