Nicholas Young's Experience with Online Groups:

In my current role as a research scientist in the Division of Immunology and Rheumatology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I directly manage and direct the day to day opertations on active human subject and animal research projects associated with myositis, Sjogren’s syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammation, cancer immunology, and exercise science. My collaborative work has shown a bench-to-bedside scope of research starting with basic scientific discovery, moving to animal models, performing preclinical validation, and advancing to human clinical trials. I am in charge or multiple projects within and outside of the lab and supervise the productivity and research direction of multiple lab staff (technicians, medical students, research volunteers, clinical research coordinators, and undergraduate students; see below).
