Folding 1000 Litre bag in box intermediate Bulk Container. This was a stainless steel container using a 1000 Litre bag for transporting dairy products. The idea of a folding box allowed a 66% reduction in empty container size. What 3 vehicles had delivered 1 vehicle collected the empties. The use of a cheap plastic internal bag removed all cleaning and steralizing processes associated with a conventional fixed size 1000Litre tank type IBC. Cost savings using this sytem were substantial. Also storage of out of use IBCs saved valuable warehouse space and eased logistics.
