The XTND electric board pairs with the rider’s smart device to track routes and recommend alternatives based on battery life or terrain. Sensors on the board will detect ambient light—triggering the exterior lights at night, and built-in pressure sensors allow the board to brake automatically, coming to a stop if the rider jumps or falls off. Other features include an anti-theft system, maintenance alert, and regenerative braking. The board itself can travel at a top speed of 28 mph, and reaches full charge in about one hour.
