BioMin Toothpaste Rebuilds Teeth

BioMin Toothpaste Rebuilds Teeth
Apr-15-16
The BioMin toothpaste technology aims to fight tooth decay while also replacing lost tooth enamel—and could be available soon.

One key to the BioMin technology is the slow-release capabilities of the paste. The BioMinF toothpaste will fight decay by releasing a small amount of fluoride for over 12 hours after brushing—helping the enamel resist attacks from acid foods. The paste also slowly releases calcium and phosphate, which will react with saliva to form a material that will rebuild the structure of the tooth. And to fight tooth sensitivity, the BioMinF will fill in the open tubules in the teeth that allow access to the nerves.
