Bull-It Jeans Hoodie Protects Motorcyclists Better than Kevlar

Oct-22-15 Designed for motorcyclists, the Covec-lined hoodie from Bull-It Jeans boasts an abrasion resistance better than Kevlar and as good as most leathers.

Covec is a somewhat new material created specifically for use in motorcycle apparel. According to the company, their Covec-lined hoodie offers more abrasion protection than cotton, Kevlar, and some leathers. Based on tests, the Covec-lined hoodie is able to slide on a hard surface for six seconds before wearing down enough to expose the wearer’s skin, compared to three seconds for Kevlar jeans and just under five seconds for leather pants.
