ClickStick Smart Deodorant Reduces Waste,

Dec-23-14 Being called the world's first smart, eco-friendly deodorant, the ClickStick may be the deodorant of the future.

Although the idea of high-tech deodorant may raise a few eyebrows, the ClickStart is equipped with several features that make it both easier to use and more environmentally friendly. Designed by a pair of PhD students, the ClickStick's push-button applicator allows for one-handed use and lessens the chance of staining clothes, and its built-in microprocessor will deliver the same amount of deodorant every time. Its companion app can be used to order refills—reducing plastic waste—and also allows the user to set the amount of deodorant delivered each time (minimizing aluminum exposure) and keep track of their deodorant usage.

The ClickStart recently reached its funding goal on Indiegogo, perhaps in part because of its loveable campaign video.
