The 3D-printed Down Up combines a faucet and a drinking fountain into one sleek device that can be installed on a standard sink.
The Down Up, which has been nominated for a James Dyson award, features a double nozzle that opens on the top and the bottom. It can be used just like a normal tap: opening the handle will turn on the water, and turning the handle to the left or right controls the temperature. However, blocking the downward-facing opening with a finger will cause the water to flow out and up through the top, allowing the user to drink from the faucet without needing to use a cup or put their head in the sink.
