Cloud Cast Personal Cooling System

Feb-14-15 Designed to lower energy costs by offering localized temperature control, the Cloud Cast misting system delivers a cooling mist to individuals as they walk by.

The Cloud Cast system uses evaporative cooling, and is designed for use in hot, dry areas. The system is made up of an array of thin rods equipped with ultrasonic sensors, which attach to a canopy or ceiling. As people move beneath the rods, the sensors detect their location and trigger the rods to release a cooling mist, creating a bubble of cool.
