CoeLux Artificial Skylights

CoeLux Artificial Skylights
May-29-14
The CoeLux lighting system mimics the sun's movement and the temperature of sunlight to provide some sun-drenched relief to office workers and apartment dwellers.

Created by Italian physicist Paolo Di Trapani, the surface of the CoeLux is enhanced by nano-technology to replicate the same light-scattering process as the atmosphere (which creates our blue sky). When LED lights are placed behind these panels, the result is a realistic 'skylight' that can add natural light to hard-to-reach interior spaces. The type of light can even be selected based on three different regions: the Tropics, Northern Europe and the Mediterranean.
