Dyneema Bonded Leather is Stronger Than Steel

Dyneema Bonded Leather is Stronger Than Steel
Sep-09-17
The Dyneema Bonded Leather is stronger than steel, paper-thin, and light enough to float on water.

Created in collaboration by Ecco Leather and DSM Dyneema, the Dyneema Bonded Leather is hailed as the strongest, thinnest leather on the market. The leather is embedded with Dyneema fiber, which is fifteen times stronger than steel, that was bonded to a high-grade bovine hide using a specially crafted process. The result is an ultra-strong material that still retains the look and feel of natural leather.

How do you sew it?

Some clothes already have welded seams. But has bioplastic been used as sewing yarn? Two strings would be welded together or gripped chemically making a runproof flexible seam.
