EXO-L 3D-Printed External Ligament Ankle Brace

EXO-L 3D-Printed External Ligament Ankle Brace
Feb-09-15
Offering a personalized alternative to traditional joint braces, the 3D-printed EXO-L brace functions like an external ligament to help prevent ankle strains.

Created by the Dutch company of the same name, each EXO-L "external ankle ligament" is custom-printed from a scan of the user's ankle. It fits on the outside of a modified shoe (which eliminates the risk of chafing), and its ligament-based design allows for more freedom of movement than traditional braces or tape.

Currently, the EXO-L is only available in the Netherlands.
